Lantegi Batuak celebrates its 40th anniversary by launching a campaign under the claim "Because when you take away the labels, the people remain". The aim of the campaign? To highlight, remember and thank the work of all the people who have passed through the four decades and who have made the Lantegi Batuak project possible.
Through a simple but elegant and direct graphic design, in which the focus is on the work centres, we have conveyed the importance of people as opposed to the stereotypes and labels imposed by society.
The action
The campaign starts with an audiovisual production. By means of a very careful recording session, we managed to create the perfect atmosphere in which to delve into each of the personal stories of several of the protagonists. Managers, families, monitors and workers told us about their experiences and what Lantegi Batuak has meant in their lives.
In addition to the audiovisuals, the campaign is completed with a series of coordinated online and offline pieces. The first commemorative action began in May with a travelling exhibition in collaboration with Metro Bilbao. The exhibition could be visited throughout the month at Indautxu and Moyua stations and in June at Santutxu station. The exhibition will continue to travel to other stations in the Metro Bilbao network.
This exhibition traces the history of Lantegi Batuak through the eyes of some of the protagonists and participants in these 40 years of inclusion, who in turn give us an emotional and direct testimonial video, in which the work of each of them is highlighted.
In addition, an awareness-raising campaign has been developed on street furniture, the different adaptations for the various celebrations have been designed, an internal exhibition for the centre network and applications for the central event.
